MAGIC ULTRASOUND operates globally. Information collected through the Site or in the course of a business relationship may be stored and processed in China and in other countries where we, our affiliates or our service providers maintain operations. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the adequacy of the destination country, in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymise it, or — where that is not possible — store it securely and isolate it until deletion can be carried out.
We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk involved, including transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS) on the Site, access control and least-privilege principles for staff and contractors, secure network architecture, monitoring and incident response procedures, and confidentiality and data-protection training. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The Site is directed to healthcare professionals, distributors and other business users and is not intended for children under 16 (or the equivalent age threshold in your jurisdiction).
