This half-torso model is designed from real human data, featuring anatomical structures such as human skin, thoracic cage, ribs, intercostal spaces, pleura, and lungs. It simulates pleural effusion and pneumothorax, with tissue-mimicking acoustic properties that enable imaging on any ultrasound device. It supports hands-on training for surface landmark-based palpation, ultrasound-guided pneumothorax aspiration, thoracentesis, and closed drainage of pleural effusion.
